Saskatchewan:
May 1 – Aug 31: Mobile App Entrepreneurship Camp
Venue: TRLabs Saskatoon
Time: Summer, 2012
At the camp, you will learn how to develop a mobile app from concept to delivery. You will receive:
- Monthly investments into your project (This is entrepreneurship, not a summer job, you are working for yourself!)
- Work space at TRLabs (located at Innovation Place Saskatoon)
- Technology mentorship to teach you the process required to create your app
- Business mentorship to teach you how to commercialize your app
Any university or SIAST student can apply to participate in the camp but you must have the necessary programming skills to successfully complete implementation of your proposal. (Remember, some apps can be hard to design but easy to program so don’t hesitate to apply because you think you might not be good enough!) The camp will invest in those projects or individuals that meet the challenge – up to eight projects will individually receive total cash investments between $3000 and $6000.
