Adjunct Scientists

At any given time TRLabs has association with approximately 70 Faculty from affiliated universities. Faculty lead the majority of research activity conducted by TRLabs, aided by TRLabs staff researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, industry member secondments, and support staff.

TRLabs offers Faculty researchers graduate student scholarship funds to support research activity, direct linkage to industry and industry-specific research challenges, and access to state of the art research equipment and facilities.

TRLabs pursues relationships with Faculty pursuing specific research topics that have been identified as being of interest to industry. As the industry-led research program shifts topic emphasis over time, TRLabs' relationships with Faculty tend to be intermediate term.

TRLabs owns the IP generated by the research program; inventors can be rewarded at the discretion of TRLabs if/when technologies are successfully commercialized by industry.
